“I highly recommend Coyote Nature School for all children! I believe all children should have access to nature in a safe and structured way with guided learning as well as child-led learning throughout the day. There are so many topics covered throughout the day in a fun and interesting way that the children don’t necessarily realize they’re learning math skills, science, reading/writing, etc because it’s all intertwined into the nature activities in a way that actually interests children. They get to move their bodies - run, walk, climb, etc - physical activity is so important!

They learn real life skills, like problem solving, in a hands-on way that will solidify the learning for the children. Nature school sparks creativity and curiosity in children while also helping them with their confidence and emotional wellbeing. I also appreciate that the children are establishing a better awareness of the environment and environmental issues, making them better stewards for the planet and its future. We are so lucky to have this program locally! ”

“Coyote Nature School is by far the best nature school we've found. And we've attended 3 previously! The care from the leaders is evident each day with weekly emails sharing what the day's plan is, to a blog that captures what was learned and what I can ask my child as a way to invoke conversation about her day at nature school. My child counts down the days until her weekly attendance at Coyote Nature School and always comes back lit up with stories to tell. She always had a favourite part of the day to share and even made a rather special ‘tree friend’ that she feels she can share her secrets with. This is a school that fosters nature connection, play and learning all together - I highly recommend it!”
