Is spring your favourite season? Are you a bird watcher, trying to discover the different types of birds in our area? Maybe you look forward to playing a fun game or doing some spring experiments at home or with your friends? What were you testing out here?

At nature school, we often play games in order to understand what it would be like if we were another living creature. In “Birds in Spring”, we learned about the dangers for nesting birds as well as for birds migrating back home. What are some of the other challenges we talked about? Do you think that animals, plants, and insects may experience some of these same challenges?

Aside from the challenges that spring can bring, there are many gifts to be discovered.

Spring plants are springing up all over Harrington! Take a look! How many can you  identify? Do you remember any interesting facts about these plants?
