In touch with fall!

There were so many leaves on the ground this morning! Dragonfly raked a path through the leaves for the young 'Acorns' to follow. It was different feeling to follow a path that is not normally in the backyard. Following the trail down to Pine Haven today, we looked for pumpkins hiding in the bushes, the grasses, beside trees and in trees too! Some of the pumpkins were not orange. What other colours of pumpkins did you find?

At Pine Haven, the story was "It's Fall" by Linda Glaser. A great rhyming book about things that are happening during the fall season. What is one thing that you have seen change at the farm? What is one thing that you can do to experience fall?

What did you do at Pine Haven today? Did you crawl, swing, jump, walk, lift, bend?

We got in touch with our creative side today with some nature painting. What did you use to make your paintbrush? What colour of mud did you use to make your picture(s)?

Get outside and experience fall this week! Happy Trails! Dragonfly, Chickadee and Ladybug
