Do animals talk to each other? What are some things we hear? But can we guess what they might be saying to each other? Today, we read the story called “The Secret” by Lindsay Barrett George. It has great animal illustrations. As a group, we guessed the animals as the story was being read.
On our walk today, we were looking for things that did not belong. Altogether there were nine things we collected. What was easy to find? What was hard to find? There was one flying friend that we found that needed a little help off the wet grass.
Using skills like hand eye coordination and fine motor skills, we were able to build towers out of beads, spools and balls. Did your child also use a pattern for their tower?
Thanks for coming out and walking the trails with Dragonfly and Heron!
